Pretty Princesses

There is no doubt that little girls can be lots of fun.
For this session, I had the pleasure of spending time with an adorable (and very smart!) pair of sisters who made me smile with lots of big grins and silly laughs. Also, it was clear from the start that they have a 'best friends' kind of relationship and truly enjoy each others company.
Big sister 'K' loves to read and dance, and little sister 'N' has more spunk and pizzazz than I've seen in a long time!
Thanks to mom for bringing some adorable outfits and for helping to keep the girls focused and smiling.

Take a look at these sweet princesses!
I made a few special 5x7 and 8x10 collage images for the family consisting of some of our favorite shots from the session.

Think Pink

This super fun session involved some of my favorite things... pretty baby girls, tutus and headbands from Blossom Bands, cute baby leg warmers, lots of silly giggles and grins, and a cake smash!
We started off with bubbles and beads while the sweet baby got used to being in front of the camera. Then we had fun watching her crawl all over wearing an adorable pink tutu. Lastly, we sat her in front of a super cute giant cupcake and let her dig in. By the end of the session she was being quite the little ham, staring right into the camera making silly grins, all the while stuffing her face with cake and frosting butterflies!

These are just a sampling of lots of great shots we got from our session...

Daddy's Home!

The famous Joey P. is back, and this time he brought his mom and dad!
When I got the call that Joey's daddy was home on leave for two weeks I was more than thrilled. He's been away on deployment since Joey was just days old, and I am very happy that they got to spend some time together as a family. I'm so glad that we had the chance to capture their time together in pictures.
I hope you enjoying viewing these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them...

Pretty in Pink

I usually move pretty quickly, but this baby girl always seemed to be one step ahead!
We sat her on a chair, and she jumped off. We sat her in the flower pot, she stood up and tried to climb out. We gave her beads to play with, she shook them so fast my camera couldn't keep up. We put her near the cake, and she ran the other way!
That being said, this was one of the most fun sessions I've had in a while. Her mommy and grandma were here to help with smiles, and she was so pretty and sweet, calling for "mama" and pointing at books and balls, wanting to play of course.
We got lots of sweet shots of this almost-one-year-old, and these are some of my favorites...

Itty Bitty

At two weeks old, this sweet new baby boy is one of the smallest babies I've have the pleasure of photographing. He tips the scales at a mere 6 lbs (but don't let his size fool you, he had more personality than I've seen in a newborn!)
Our session started a little rocky, with a cranky, fidgety baby who decided it would be fun to pee clear across the room. But after a little snack break and some great swaddling, he was happy, warm and cozy, which made for some very sweet pictures.
Take a look at this adorable little bundle!
