ONEderful!

We did a little of everything at this fun session... traditional portraits of the handsome little boy, pictures of the brother and sister together, silly "cake smash" pictures of the adorable baby girl, and even a few pictures of the big brother helping out with the cake!
I love the sweet little grins and pouts from the 1-year-old little princess, and the sparkling eyes of the almost 4-year-old big brother. They had fun drumming and being silly, and I think we got lots of great shots that really capture their personalities!

Snow Day

So thanks to all of this snow, the kids and I are stuck in the house while Tim is off plowing out the rest of the world. We've done lots of fun things to keep us all busy, and I've chronicled some of it with the camera.
It is a bit new for me to photograph still obejcts, and I have to say, I kind of like it! Squirmy kids are a bit more difficult to capture than a stack of books or blocks!

So here's what we've been doing this week... from potty training my handsome little man, to reading books and playing in the sink. What did you do??

Baby Love

Is there anything sweeter than a baby girl?
How about a baby girl born into a family with two big brothers?!
This adorable little princess was such a good girl for our photo session, even though she was feeling a little under the weather. With big beautiful eyes, a happy grin, and a silly baby laugh, she made our session lots of fun. And you can tell by all of the pink props and girly accessories that mom definitely loves having a baby girl in the house!

Growing Boys

Both of my sweet boys hit milestones this week... Atticus is now a big boy at 2 years old, and Finneas is a happy, chunky 3-month old.
I tried to do a short photo session with each of the boys, but of course things never go as planned. Atticus tripped and bumped his head after just a few pictures, and of course won't sit still for anything, nevermind look in my direction! Finn is always happy and smiling, but the kids kept getting in front of the camera or bonking him on the head.
They are my babies and I love them :)

If you're interested in Piggy Toes Photography, I'd love to talk with you. Life is full of moments that will soon turn into memories, and you don't want to look back and say "Oh, I wish I had a picture of that!". Infants, toddlers, kids, high-schoolers, couples, families... even pets. I'd love to help capture your memories.

My services include a photo session (usually one hour, but can vary depending on your individual needs), props, post-production of photographs, and images on high resolution disk with print rights. You have the freedom to choose which pictures you'd like printed, how many, and of what size yourself- without trying to decide on a specific photo package ahead of time. Also, if you decide you love the pictures from our session and want professional quality prints (instead of printing at the local variety store) I can order your prints on professional quality paper (without the inflated price).

The investment for most Piggy Toes sessions is $200, which includes your sitting, the photographer's time and talents, use of backdrops/props, editing/processing, and images on disk with print rights. (Large family and newborn sessions which require more time also require a slightly larger investment amount).

Piggy Toes also offers other photography-related services according to your individual tastes and preferences. Using photos taken from our shoot, or others that you have on digital file, I'd love to create party invitations, holiday cards, photo books, calendars, or other stationary items and gifts.

Equipment

I am currently shooting with a Nikon D90, 18-105mm lens, f/1.8 50mm portrait lens, f/1.8 85mm lens, f/1.4 50mm lens, softbox lights, and SB400 speedlight.

I offer a number of backdrop colors, including thunder grey, tulip pink, blue jay, mocha, orchid, and super white, along with lots of fun print and themed backdrops. I also have lots of soft and fuzzy blankets for baby session, adorable tutus and headbands for your baby girl, and handsome ties and hats for the little men.

Also, I am always on the hunt for old-fashioned or unique photography props. If you have something you think I could use, let me know!
