Big Brother, Baby Sister

When a good friend of mine asked if I would take some pictures of her kiddos (in preparation for the upcoming holidays) I was more than happy to do the job. Her handsome little boy is buddies with my daughter, and her sweet baby girl is always full of big smiles.
We used a few holiday props, and a pair of wings for some sweet 'angel' pictures.
The kids behaved great and we got lots of wonderful shots.

Here is a sneak peak...

Somebody is "cheesin" here... !

I love this next shot... !

Santa's Little Helper

For this sessiom, mom, dad, and grandma brought this sweet 5-month-old baby girl, along with an adorable assortment of holiday dresses, outfits, and hats.
I think we were interrupting her lunch and her nap, as she was a bit cranky at first, but we found some positions she was comfortable in and ended up with some adorable pictures.
We got silly faces, cute grins, and happy smiles (and one adorable pout face that I couldn't help but share!).

Take a look!

and last but not least, the adorable pout!

Thanks again to the family for coming prepared with lots of cute outfits, and for being patient when the little lady need to eat or cuddle.

Daddy's Girl

I can't think of anything much sweeter than a brand new baby girl, or anything more special than a couple's first baby.
This adorable 5-day-old baby girl has certainly filled mom and dad's hearts, and I am excited for them to experience all of the new baby 'firsts' with their sweet girl.
Even though she didn't sleep a wink, this little lady tolerated our poking and prodding like a champ, and didn't even seem to mind my bright lights in her face for almost 2 hours.

Here are some of my favorite shots taken of this adorable baby girl.

Generations

Well, I survived my first large group photo session!
This extended family wants to surprise Grandma and Grandpa with a picture including the entire family (some of whom had to drive from out of state to get here). With adults, teens, kids, and babies, this family has it all.
We had the elements working against us... clouds, a cold wind, damp grass, and a few cranky babies... but I think we did our best to get a family portrait that the grandparents are sure to love.

A Gift for Grandpa

For this session I headed to one of my favorite places... a beautiful park in West Bridgewater with open spaces, little waterfalls, and flowing streams mixed among big, colorful trees.
These adorable (and handsome) cousins were a joy to photograph. They were all super cooperative, gave lots of big smiles, and didn't mind sitting on the damp, dirty ground.
Our goal was to get a few individual shots, but also a picture of the cousins together as a gift for Grandpa. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to see all his grandbabies together.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day, starting with my favorite group picture...

Baby's First Christmas

Meet my adorable nephew.
At 9 months old, he's already quite the charmer, and with those gorgeous blue eyes we all know he's going to grow into quite the ladies man!
With this being his first Christmas, mom and dad wanted some holiday pictures taken, so we set up our props and starting snapping. We didn't get any of his trademark cheeky grins, but did get some adorable photographs that will definitely get you smiling and in the Christmas spirit.
Here are a few (okay, more than a few) of my favorites. He's such a cutie I couldn't decide which pictures I like best!

Thanks to my brother and sis in law for making a mess of their house so we could have room to shoot, and providing some of our holiday props.
