Jack is Back

Handsome and happy, that's how I would describe this little man.
Starting when he was just weeks old, Jack has been in front of my camera on a regular basis. I had the priviledge of doing 1-month and Christmas pictures this past year, and mom wanted to capture some cute poses now that he's 8 months old.
We tried some fancy attire, sporty props, even a few naked bum shots. Mom also wanted a storyboard to hang in his bedroom, so we had fun with alphabet letters to spell his name.

Here are some of my favorite shots of this handsome, happy baby.

Sweet Sisters

I had the pleasure of spending the morning with these super sweet, funny, adorable sisters (and their just-as-sweet mom!). They were well prepared with adorable outfits, and a few sweet treats waiting in the kitchen as reward for their smiles and poses.
The big sis told me all about her adventures in pre-school, and little sis giggled as she told me about her daddy and her favorite cartoons.
I love how their personalities shine through in the images we captured.

Ready for Spring

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring!
This little love came over for a quick session to help showcase some of my new-for-spring backdrops and props, and she did such a great job with perfect poses and adorable smiles. I say get this baby an agent!

Nine Months

That's how long it takes to grow a baby. How amazing!?
No matter how many times it happens, I am still in awe of such a miraculous happening.
This fun couple is anxiously awaiting the birth of their first sweet bundle, and to make things even more exciting, they decided not to find out the gender of the baby! What a great surprise!
We started with some studio shots, got some great close-ups of her beautiful baby bump, then braved the elements for some fun out in the snow.

Smashing!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I love 'Cake Smash'!
Cute baby, silly smiles, cake face, chubby belly... sometimes it's just too cute to handle!
This little guy went straight to work, first painting with the colored frosting, then shoveling big chunks of cake right into his mouth. He was all business about his 'smash', but once in a while would look at mom or dad and smirk, as if to say "I'm messy, I'm eating cake, and there's nothing you can do about it!"

Cabin Fever

So what's a stay-at-home mom to do to ward off cabin fever?
Well, I can only work with what I have... and that's three sweet kiddos and a great camera!
So, here are some pictures from the past snowy week. We tried a few new backdrops, and some adorable tutus and headbands from 'Blossom Bands', played with cereal, stared out at the icicles, and enjoyed some big smiles from our little man Finn.
